Hate to say it, but there's probably a reason.... Not sure how detailed the car is. I love the photoshop though of the mountains in the background. With the "Charger" script missing from the rear taillamp panel, the side marker bezel not painted to match the stripe and those doggies,,, it makes me wonder what else is missing..   Good looking car nonetheless... Hopefully there is a happy seller and happy buyer...........

At 165k, the Ford GT went for the right money depending on miles.   Maybe just a tad light.

It was the Stark Metal (owner) car - same one as last year - needs a lot of work.

Its not a perfect car by any means, but I would not kick it out of the garage for leaking oil. I'd gladly swap my 500 and cash for that car.

Kid has not gotten into trouble once at school and then gets 3 notes sent home from teachers in a 4 day span.

The cars older description didnt mention original metal or not

An original V2 Hemi Orange Daytona with a black interior, black stripe and wing. This 440 winged warrior was purchased from its original owner, comes with it's original Bill of Sale, original owners manual and still maintains its original fender tag. It is nicely equipped with power steering, power brakes, buckets and console, floor shifter, an automatic transmission, new redline tires and dog dish hub caps.

It's not original sheet metal and the current owner plans to address a few of the rougher details.  As for it selling for less than last years bid, well, that's the beauty of auctions.  You can talk all day about what "this car is worth" but when it crosses that block you're going to get the most up to date appraisal you can possibly get.  Evidentally it was worth less than a year ago and in both cases likely less than the reserve.
