Ever see the picture of Duncan Ackermans blue superbird urban legend that it was in pictured garage no car shown anywhere where is the wing car in that picture. On cars in barns and superbird .com
Turns out it gets substantiated that car and its story coming out of the same garage.

:shruggy: , Regardless, pictures of anyone's homes that aren't yours may require approval for posting? Otherwise, not cool. I know I wouldn't like pictures of my house being posted without my permission........  The forum, any forum, isn't a court of law to substantiate or deny, anything........

Well Dave... Go back and  :slap: :slap: :slap: the troll that provided that little gem of a lead.  The house shown has nothing to do with the slotted mag Daytona.  The Daytona is in Texas and I know it well...  Phishing again???

OK Dave, by now EVERYONE else has figured it out, so I will explain it to you...

1)  The house pictured is MY house, taken before May 2008
2)  The 1973 Charger SE 440 shown was sold in May 2008
3)  I have NO connection to the slotted mag Daytona, but know the car well... but NO, I will not provide the info to you without the owners permission

I'm so confuzed now

Ignore the later part, it's Allen trying to explain to people curious about the picture Dave posted about his house. The original spirit and reason for the thread was Allen trying to set the stage for my eventual thread about my day at Texas Work Speedway.......

what an awesome original story. congrats, troy.

the obsessiveness shown later in the thread assures me that at least one daytona will remain beneath the radar.

Sorry, but this is the 3rd or 4th time he has posted information or pictures related to me, each time apparently "unaware" that the material was connected to me... its getting old.

There are at least five that the guru has not "discovered" or has mis-identified.  He mis-identified mine also, but may have figured it out recently due to an unintentional slip by someone on a car forum.

I have provided full information on my Daytona to several people with registry style databases.  So far they have not felt the need to publish the material all over the Internet for self-aggrandizement...

Two years ago a friend had his storage building broken into and lost over $40,000 worth of hard earned property.  To this day he is finding out that there were more missing items...  he is a "Wingnut" too.

That could and has happened to practically everyone, yep, even me,.. Anyhow,.. i was referring to the obvious obsession within the aero car community,.. anyone of us "po" lowly R/T SE and below guys are well familiar with.
BTW: I was past Texas M.S. several times last Feb. when i was in Wise Co. but to say i wasn't with car nuts would be a most sever understatement,.. At one point I asked if it might be possible to check it out as one of our supposed sightseeing excursions of which there were several, 'n you would'a thought I dumped a turd in the punch bowl... No-one said anything for about three minutes and then they changed the subject...
Kinda' like my posts on this site.  :shruggy:

I would like to hear the story about the green challenger.  :coolgleamA:

Original FJ5 Sublime colored 383 2BBL car, numbers matching, cloned to "R/T", from Santa Monica, California, appeared in the 1984 movie "The Legend of Billie Jean" (painted black & primer over original shiny FJ5 for movie).  Bought in late 1980s from owner who purchased from movie company, have documentation...  Received an offer to buy the car today... what would you estimate fair market value?  Has broadcast sheet & fender tag...

Neat story great car fair market value is what ever someone is willing to pay that puts a smile on your face :)

Seriously it looks nice I would assume your not missing anything for reassembly so it's a complete car.

In this economy 20 to 30 based off of others I have seen recently for sale I would have to check to see if they sold. I have seen none rt verts for as high as 40 and 50 (complete cars)but not in the last 5 or 6 years.

:Twocents: :Twocents: :Twocents:

I would think anything under 20 would be a smoking deal for somebody  :2thumbs:

Thanks for the extra info good luck with the sale.
