Ok I picked up a Dana 60 Car rearend today. I am trying to figure out if it has been cut down. It was removed from a 69 Camaro. How exactly do you measure it and what should those measurements be. It has 5.38 Gears and complete disc brake setup with braided brake lines.  I will post pics in a few

Drum-to-drum widths and housing widths are the same for the Dana 60 and the 8 3/4".

I think the rearend has been slightly cut down then. It measures 51" from the end of the axle tube.
