How is the steering column painted from the factory at the firewall ?

If you had a green Charger with a tan interior would the column section in the engine bay be painted tan or green ?

Keep in mind only the lower outer jacket is interior color.
1970 B-body column for reference

Mine is a console car but I assume it's the same with the steering shaft, I ordered the lower roller bearing etc from you and while I was preparing the column the difference in colors dawned on me...

I still think a tan column in a green engine bay is going to look ugly, but if that's how the factory did it why not..
