I MODIFIED MY STINGER SCOOPS TO ACCEPT STUDS . I JUST GROUND THE GLASS IN THAT AREA SO RESIN WOULD BITE THEN MADE FORM WITH MASKING TAPE ,THEN POURED FIBERGLASS RESIN . NOW I'M WAITING FOR STUDS FROM R/T SPECIALTIES AND THEN WILL DRILL SCOOP AND SAND TO FOLLOW CONTOUR OF FENDER.

Larry,
Do you think that there would there be any way to imbed 1/4 20 bolts with the heads cut off into the fiberglass resin using a simple fixture to hold the bolts in an upright position? Would save money and time, seems like to me. Just curious.

Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly.

could have ,but I need to contour scoop then for a lousy 3 bucks each I bought the proper studs . To answer your question yes but to me thats more work when I'm going to contour sand it last

Larry how did you figure where to place those studs .In the factory original placement locations. And you still need to measure scoop location relative to the fender top.And the underneath hole and screen location
