I hope this is the appropriate place for this. My name is Pat and I just purchased my first charger a 69 r/t s/e 440 727 power disc brake car. It is a large project but Im ready. Like some I am in my thirties and grew up watching doh, knight rider etc and fell in love with 1969 charger's. With young kids I could never dedicate the time and money for such a large project but now I had some extra cash and I went for it. I just finished my jeep project so now I can concentrate on this one. I look forward to getting to know you all and thanks for the great site!!!!!

Thanks guys for the warm welcome...I am a newbie to chargers but from my limited research it was a b5 blue with black interior originally. I will get some pics uploaded. It isnt much to look at right now though. I am pretty fortunate though I have the smith bros almost literally in my backyard :)

Welcome to the site Napian! This is THE place for all things early Charger. Very helpful great group of folks. If you run into any problems with your 68, you'll find 10 guys here who've been there and will get you going. I have a buddy in Napa who is also restoring a 68. I'm sure you know about the big Napa car show this Saturday. If not, hit downtown, its Napa's biggest annual car show. I'm in Sebastopol so feel free to contact me.  Like others have mentioned, we love pictures so when you have time to post a shot or two of your car you will get your secret decoder ring. Hahahaha

:popcrn:  Ahh welcome fellow RTSE dude, I am only a couple month old newbie too, seems like a nice stack of freaks and loons (like me, for the most part).  Just to plug my color fetish, I vote you go back factory colors, no matter what color it was with some bolt on goodies.   B5, can't complain about that :2thumbs:

Hello and welcome fellow Napkin!

RallyeMike

Welcome. Looking forward to a fender tag or description of the car.

Do you work for Napa, live in Napa, both. or neither?

Thanks all for the warm welcome. Just to clarify the Napa is because I own a Napa auto parts store:) I don't have a computer at home so it may be a bit before I can get pics up. Look forward to learning and meeting new people here:)
