I just got a phone call with info that our fellow Dodge Charger owner and country music man Red Kilby has passed away.  He had been fighting cancer this year and things were looking very good for him this last month or so.  I do not know anything more other then he passed away yesterday afternoon.    Just a few weeks ago he had felt good enough to attend a country music deal in St Louis.

I had many fun times with Red at the various TDC and Charger Fever Dodge Charger shows, Met Red in 1998 at Boerne Texas and we had been friends since. He was always wanting to sing and play the guitar. I remember the Ardmore Show where he played for some wedding party at the hotel.  We drank many beers and told jokes and listened to him play.   Red will truely be missed!

NO,  :o :o   Man, That sucks.    Red was and awesome guy.     He sent me an autographed CD with is music for Christmas 2 years ago...  Talented guy.   Our Charger R/T S.E. was optioned out just like Ginger and 2 vin numbers off.   I was planning of seeing him next June on our trip to Colorado.    That is the 3rd friend in less than 1 week.  Not cool.     RIP Red.   Enjoyed your company and your knowledge buddy...  We will miss you...

Condolences to his Family . Imet him once at the Ardmore meet & I know he posted here about 6 weeks ago saying he was going to beat this , I wish he had !!

Best wishes to family and close friends.  I only crossed paths with Red couple times over the years, but did not know him very well, seemed like a good guy and certainly a Charger guy, enjoyed visiting about RTSEs, sunroofs and rare options with him.

I never knew the man but it is safe to assume he shared his love of Chargers with everyone here!

Only met him one time and it was a great time chatting with him about sunroof cars. I talked to him several times on the phone when i had first bought my sunroof 69 Charger. He will be missed.

Bummer, he was a very cool guy.

Maybe with his new connections upstairs he can find out what happened to the slant six Charger he found the broadcast sheet for.  :scratchchin:

Sad news. I met Red at the TDC National meet in Jefferson City in '06. Nice guy. I got a couple of his CD's. He was playin' and singin' there too. :icon_smile_big:

Sad to hear this. According to his profile he was only 44 years old. He must have posted a lot more on the old site because I'm sure I once talked to him about guitars & music. RIP Red.
