Hello, My name is Mike Hill, this thread is being started today (Oct 30th 2011) to tell the story of two Superbirds that I was Lucky enough to buy from a nice older gentileman here in my hometown back in Jan 2007 . I'm sure my posts will "jump around and wont cover all the details in order, however Ill try to post often, and include  some of my pics of how I came across these two birds, How I was able to buy them also pics of the recovery of these birds, along with restoration pics, its gonna be along story... But a good one. After lurking here on this forum for a couple years , I've finally got enough story+pics+info to share with you guys. now Some of you I have met at events, such as Doug S.,  Doug C, Troy,Corndog, and a slew of others that i know faces but cant name names.... as for us maybe you know us as the "father and son team, (we have attended several events, always together, starting back since he was eleven, (hes now sixteen) and we are still always trying to gain knowledge on these wing cars. ) again, this thread my not be in a perfect timeline... but ill try to do my best to show off some of the hundreds of pics of our 2 birds that were "pulled from the woods of S.C."
Ill start by posting a few pics of the cars, as I found them, back in 2007. again "its a long story"

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

hey Mike--Doug Croxford.  Good to see you landed here!

How's the car coming?

That's awesome.  I can't wait to hear about how it all came together.  How you found them and such.

Wasn't there a thread on the board here about these cars from before Mike bought them?     I seem to remember there was a Hemi Road Runner involved.

Didn't the guy go by the screen name of Harry T or something like that?
