i will never understand how people with these high dollar cars, have the grammar and spelling skills of a three year old. is it really that hard to use spell check? nice pics, and those 2 extra hemis are worth something, but how much do you really imagine this car is worth?  :shruggy:

This is NOT Vernon's Bonneville car.   Vernon never even drove this car.  It just sat in his backyard from about 92 till he sold it about 6 years ago.    He purchased it from Joe Slama as a rolling shell.  Joe traded a 73 Cuda to Jim Radke in the mid 70s for it.    It's a 440 Column shift disc brake car.     I know Vernon is looking for this car and his 1967 Hemi Charger which he says were stolen from him.  I see the 67 in the back ground.  Interesting...    Here is a picture of it when Jim Radke painted it Sassy Grass 1976ish   The shop screwed up.  It was supposed to be painted F6
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.

My bad,  Stolen is not the legal term.   Vernon sold the cars for partial cash and the balance in a cashiers check.  The check was bad.   Vernon put a low selling price on the Bill of Sale.   So in the eyes of the law the car is not stolen.   In Vernon's eyes yes.     That deal was for all 3 of his cars.    The 67 Hemi 4 speed Charger in which he purchased as a new car,   The White and Black 4 Speed Daytona in which he also purchased new.  That was the Bonneville car and the V2 Auto Daytona we see here.

Yeah, the fact that it wasn't a white Daytona was throwing me.   Thanks for explaining that Vern had more than one car.

C5X DAYTONA

I wonder if they fixed the rear of roof.   Joe cut out all the rear window teeth for the headliner.   I just called Joe and told him about what is said on his old Daytona on ebay..    He laughed..

there are several things that seem out of sorts with the ebay listing, including where it states the car has all of its original sheet metal, while the hood has the ribs. after watching the video, i had to wonder if the guy in it even knows much about the car. what truly stood out was the feedback for the ebay account. the part of it as a seller had some sort of issue with nearly every item on it.

Joe Slama put the hood on the car after forgetting the hoodpins and there was no safety catch.     I will post a picture of the car wrecked in 75 after a collision with a parked car.   I wish I had a picture of the interior.  There were dangle balls around every window..   ::)  The number matching trans is here somewhere.      I have the original dash cluster from this car.    I am glad to see he didn't put the real mileage since I have the cluster from this Daytona.   Joe did cut the rear wheel well lips off I see that is fixed.  It is a real solid car.  It only had rust in the rear window.     Not a JOKE,  Buyers beware.   Make sure you leave with everything you are promised.      Basically Vernon got less than 40k and a bad cashiers check for a 25,000 mile Hemi 4-speed 1967 numbers Charger, the Bonneville Daytona and the V2 Daytona plus an extra race Hemi.  All cars are numbers match except for the V2 didn't have the #s trans with it .
Caution.... Low flying aircraft.

So this wing smells fishy and has a jaded past? If that's the case, looks like the Dude has more than enough money to make due on that past cashier's check to Vernon....

If it becomes a legal issue, the "low ball" price on the bill of sale can be construded as tax evasion by both parties involved, irregardless of the bounced check/funds :Twocents:

Jim Radke picked the car up from Bill Williams around 1976-77,  Bill purchased the car from Hector Morales as a wrecked.   Bill owned the car for a very short time.
