I work on Upper James in Hamilton and I see quite a few 68-70 Chargers drive by. I would say at least 6 different ones. Man they are good looking cars!

Dave

Where on U. James Dave?
I'll guarantee you've seen ours ;)
So I have asked a few locals to do this so let's "get ur dun" this summer!!

Ours is a '69 Charger SE...looks like the only SE on the list but I know of at least 2 more local SE's so when we have a date I'll be sure to let them know!!!

I work at John Bear, stop in with the car one day and ask for the Mopar Guy   :icon_smile_big:

Dave

Mopar Guy working at a Chevy dealership!  :pity: LOL
We'll try to stop in when the weather clears up some.

Ok, I going to make suggestion;
Sent Don an email, a short time ago, as this is his thread.

After checking the thread on south western chargers, the first thing that came to mind was, why don't we do a private, car show-barbecue, open trunk swap' meet & a meet and greet. My property in Grand Valley can accommodate over a 100 cars as is and if need be, another 45 acres out back. This show would be just for us, no public. If it works out and the turn out is large, it might be something to consider going public with, down the road.

If anyone is interested. a show of hands I guess. Saturday July 14 , I was probably thinking I would throw a pig on a spit, and do pot luck salads and so. Just an idea!! If there is enough intrest, we will make it happen!!!

James.

Sounds like a good time! I always have time off mid July so count me in if it happens.

404NOTFOUND

Sounds like a good time to me too. I'd prefer gathering the cars at a meeting point and running them up there as a group. Touring a large group of cars in the city is always difficult due to traffic. Big highways like the 401 have drawbacks like stonechips, steep gearing in the cars etc so, taking a run up Highway 6 with it's 80kph limit to your place should be ideal. I suggest a cool meeting point that would be fairly central to everyone would be the A&W on Highway 6 just north of the 401. I have two way radios I can bring if needed for the lead and tail cars so nobody gets lost at traffic lights. How does that all sound?

Looks like the Oakville Cruise Nights will continue every Tuesday night from May 22nd 2012 through September 11th 2012...at the Boston Pizza / Tim Hortons mall parking lot north west corner of Dorval Road and QEW.

Rumour has it that the Burlington Cruise nights which were every Wednesday night will not be happening this year. From what I heard they got the boot from the Burlington Mall and have nowhere to hold them.
