"Help with" fly window glass removal

Hey guys whats the proper way to remove fly window glass
without damaging anything? do i have to pull out the pin on the shaft.

 i'm asuming you mean the  door vent window glass  ??  are you just changing the glass ? if so  just undo the phillips headed screw ,  hold chrome  channel & carefully pull glass up out of the channel , these can be stuct fast sometimes  ,  so with the  vent open tweak the end of the glass  to breake the seal , by sticking the tip of a  thin screwdriver between the  bottom of the glass & the chrome channel ( don't go mad doing this)) at the edge & gently pulling up at the same time  ,  might  need a third had to hold the chrome channel from moving ,

Just in case you want to remove the pivot & the glass as an assembly, yes the little pin just pulls out. Grab it with a small pair of vice-grips & gently twist back & forth, it'll work it's way out. It's just a little roll pin.
