Steering Wheel Lock Nut

It seems that the original lock nut for my steering wheel in my '70 turned up missing. Can one use any correct size lock nut as a replacement or is there something special about them? It looks to me like it is a 1/2 inch fine thread nut.

That should be an easy find on eBay.  :2thumbs: (Check with the guys dealing in Mopar stuff.)

I just looked at ebay and there is only 1 for $15.00. Would any nut work? It's gonna be covered up so it doesn't have to be "perfect".

Don't get cheap...it must be right!  :2thumbs: That is a specific shaped nut to fit inside the wheel/horn assembly, and it's a locknut that grips the threads.
