Am I seeing it correctly with their wording, I assume this is new reproduction and not an old original never used NOS.  Regardless 11k

Wow

I could never imagine paying that much coin for what 25lbs of tin ?

gene gregory nose , if its the one he was making in the 80's the whole nose os slightly to small and the grill opening is too small for the grill frame to fit in it  .    This car has one on it after a Deer hit .

I've asked the seller if in fact it is a NOS item. I guess we'll see what we see.

Been for sale several times over the past year or so, with no sale yet.

I think in todays economy 11K for a bare shell might be a bit to much. I have a customer for it, but not at the current price he seems stuck on

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Still less than the N.O.S. bird nose Frank Mitchell sold for $16K a few years ago.

I should buy that and slap it on a clone before someone that owns a real Daytona buys it  :poke:

Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

It didn't sell but do notice that the sellers' ebay handle is 'newreproparts'. To me that tells the whole story on this nose. If somebody did need one and has deep pockets, go for it.

the ebay seller is gean gregory, the same individual who made the reproduction cone on the silver car seen above. he has been listing a repro superbird nose on ebay for quite a while now, along with latch trays for both wing cars.

a while back, some one on this board mentioned that gean was possibly going to start making daytona cones again.  perhaps he had this daytona piece, to gather measurements from it, or he could be abandoning the daytona cone idea completely?
