Looking at a purchase, 1970 RT. I am fairly hip at what and where to look for the usual rust and panel replacement items. The workmanship is some what holding me back form a decision as I do not know enough about body work and how to tell what is acceptable or not. From the outside the car is great. It appears that the Right Quarter and trunk deck were replaced....the work looks kind of crappy.....any thoughts or advice.
Thanks

Will post some other pics this afternoon

Looks like someone applied dabs of seam sealer around protruding rear window & vinyl top trim fasteners.

The black curly-Q oozing thru might be rear window urethane sealer out of a previous unused screw hole. Oozed thru when they installed the rear window.
Doesn't look like the filler panel was replaced, but repaired as there is evidence of body filler there shown in the pic. Whether it was done "right" or not is subjective. What is underneath it could have been done right yet they did not finish off the filler work as it is a low-visible area. However, if the painted over wiring harness is any indication it may have not been done right & given a quickie.
Any other pictures of this car?

I would agree with Bill, I don't think the dutchman panel was replaced and I would bet money those quarters are factory looks like they sprayed primer over the factory undercoating and they filled the vinyl top trim holes.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

RT quarter was definitely replaced with a skin.  :yesnod:
O.P. emailed me other photos showing the RT quarter from a different angle where they stopped finishing the seam as it got too far forward.  :yesnod:

painted harness , ! don't look good to the quality of the repairs , as if they could not bebothered to remove the trunk light , which takes all of 10 seconds , what else could they not be bothered to do  :scratchchin:

Thanks for the help....greatly appreciated
Here are a few other pics.
Agree about the not removing the harness...sloppy.
The pic of the bottom of the quarter...it appears a dolly was not used to straighten the edge before the quarter was attached.
The pic of the inner wheel well it also appears some work was done to the sail...mig wire attached.
The car looks great from the out side but that does not mean anything.
You can also see the the seams of the valence corners are filled in
Thanks again!

The trunk seal is in the incorrect place? Shouldn't it be on the trunk lip?

Car looks great, I love the green tail stripe.

That quarter along with the corner caps looks pretty dodgey, makes you question the quality of the rest of the car.

Indygenerallee

Yeah trunk seal should be on that upper lip.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.
