What a character! Literally "the 70's were good to him"     Its a 70 Charger built into a Daytona. He hand built the nose himself, the wing is an old fiberglass repop .  This poor guy was/is living in extreame poverty, said life had taken everything else from him but he managed to hang onto his ride.  Gotta respect that I guess? I'm going to dig around and see if I have some parts I can donate to the cause. He said he just wanted to get it on the road but had no money. ....Been there! He is known locally as "Joe Dirt"  funny charatcter, spent about 30 minutes talking with him.

Yes, very good of you.  Does he know baout the Joe Dirt nickname?  I'm sure most are applying it derisively but I don't know that it should necessarily be a bad thing.

:drool5: could it be this car  ?  :shruggy:

Sure looks like it?  :o  He did say it used to have a Dodge decal on the quarter too.Where/when was that picture taken? It's been around this area since 1971 I think he said?  It is in pretty rough shape, lots of patches, he said he replace a front rail himself some time ago.
