guys had to replace a few studs that had the threads jacked.  I got the spindle off and for the life of me i cannot get the studs installed.  I have tried pressing them in and the other way I know of spacing out the stud with washers and using the old lug nut to tighten and press it in. is there a trick to this they do not wanna go.

Ive always used the lug...you sure you have the correct size studs?

def the right size, tried the lug nut but no bueno.  I wound up using a press and by golly did it not bend the dang spindle.  Is there a place I can get a replacement spindle
