Location is Ontario.

Parts are junk well fender is anyway and the price is rediculous. I bet that is "honest" Bob.

nvrbdn

ok, let me get this straight. you buy an original fender for 3 grand. the original fender is smashed about beyond use. but your paying for the originality. you get with the fender an original scoop and screen. the original scoop needs major repair. the screen is fine shape just rusted. then you get a donar fender for skin? well then in my mind, you are actually paying for an original piece of scrap with a damaged scoop and a screen (that can be cleaned and used) when done all you have for use on your car is a 70 charger fender with a hole cut in it and a repaired scoop with an original screen under it and it only cost you 3 grand plus shipping, cutting, welding, painting etc....... :shruggy:

What the hell was he thinking?  :shruggy:  They could've been damaged being transported like that with new dents ruining the original dents.

So, did this guy not notice they had been for sale for several years already? How could he possibly think he could flip them for more money than the previous seller was asking?

Troy

That's actually Tommy loading the Mustang, former owner of the F6 mangled Daytona that TiM L. has restored downunder in Aussie,...the new flipper of these parts appears to be Todd S.....current owner of the ModTop Tona undergoing resto

For curiositys sake what was the sticker price at the show before they changed hands ?

He is asking 6k for the two parts. Even if he paid 3k that would be major a$$ rape. Nevermind thinking you can flip for $6k.

At Carlisle Tommy had the parts listed at $1500 each.......which is crazy, but even crazier is they sold, for what I don't know?,...I wouldn't give you the "time of the day" for those parts, they're junk IMHO...but one man's junk, is another's treasure, so they say, love to see who steps up to buy them?

Mike

Hood inner panel is correct.  And they are unique to Daytonas.  Expensive, but may be worth it to the right car...  And an owner with deep pockets!
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Question & Answer Answered On
:popcrn:

Q:  Are you for real I recently bought a Daytona fender much, much better on ebay for $150. Besides I have the car yours came off. Jul-23-12
A:   Congratulations John, owning an F6 Daytona makes you the smartest guy in the room by far, you with a hand full of other people you have one of the coolest color combo's Chrysler ever produced on a Wing Car in my opinion. $150.00 for an Original Daytona Fender is a FANTASTIC price, to confirm the part you scored is in fact a Creative Industries installed part not a 1970 Charger Fender converted, investigate the special date codes and a sequence of codes stamped in several places as indicated in the photo's shown. OE original will make your car that much more valuable for sure. Both numbers matching OE front fenders and the Factory installed NOS correct hood can be purchased "As IS" or repaired prior shipped ready for installation at additional cost. If you desire they would be acid dipped, drilled apart straightened, hammer welded and spot welded back together and the Factory installed Jo-lynn industries fender scoops would also be repaired to perfection. Please ask for a quote for the repairs should you be interested. Thank you for looking at my rare original Daytona Parts please look at my other auctions. Best of luck with your restoration. Regards TS

I recall fender scoop vendor being Jo ad .Not Jo -Lynn

http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,45448.0.html

The fender scoops had the wording Jo-Ad on the underside. And again tried out the web in a search for another wingcar related vendors. And found this company that did plastic injection from 1957.They possibly could have been the vendor that creative used for the wing scoops
