Ernie stopped driving in his mid-50's, 'bout 1976.

James was fascinated by the Turbine car.   This was out at Rich B's house near St Louis in 2003.

Those turbine cars are very cool!! There is a guy over near me that has one in Terre Haute (Jay Leno has called him numerous times wanting parts!!)
And I saw the one they had at the Walter P. Chrysler museum back in 2000.

James' shop was 1/4 mile from the guy that did the body/paint work on my Talladega. He is a super guy.I asked him about the ole days and he said that he had TONS of Talladega/wing car stuff in the attic of his shop and someone broke in and stole ALL of it.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

IIRC there were something like 50 of them made.  They had them on a loan program across the US to get feedback from real people.  At the end of the program all but 5 of the cars were scrapped in order to avoid paying duties on the cars as the bodies were all made in Italy by Ghia.
