I saw this add under items for sale section of this website and wanted to get the opinion of the other board members.  Has anyone purchased any of these custom made parts for a Daytona or Superbird.  His prices are very reasonable but I don't anything about his work.  He did send me a reply to an email I sent him.  He is out of Canada.

"Will Sell Steel Nosecone under construction- , 3 piece steel and aluminum wing, - and steel rear window plug - all for $3250.!"

Sorry, forgot to put Don C1 in my description.  Can anyone tell me how his work is?  Has anyone purchased a Daytona nose or any other custom made parts from him?  How is his craftsmanship?

The Superbird wing that he made for me using steel skin over tubular frame was a work of art.

Seems like a very cheap price, considering I have seen steel noses alone, running on ebay for at least twice that amount.
too many to list!

It's a smokin deal for sure. My Gean Gregory nose was 5G. I still need a plug and two wings :eek2:

Yes and that's a one time deal only for the superbird, normally my price is as listed. I don't normally like to toot my own horn but I do a have  'little ' experience building custom cars..

I believe Gene's nosecone's were 18 gauge. Mine are 20 gauge..just a tad thinner but once rolled on the wheel the curvature of the steel becomes very strong especially when combined with the Z bars and spot welded in upper flange. I can certainly make them thicker but then the price would go up. Can also build them in aluminum. Headlight buckets are fiberglass. Z bars are are 18 gauge. Window plugs are 20 gauge. Wing is a combo of 18-20 gauge and .063 aluminum. I'm making these parts as  'affordable' as possibly can for everybody.

If I hadn't bought the nose from Gean, I'd have been all over this deal :drool5:
