The 2013 meet will be in the Detroit area.   We have 50 hotel rooms locked in until May 11th.    Please make your reservations ASAP.   Detroit meets always have a good turnout of people and cars.   We'd like to book as many rooms as soon as possible so our local coordinator, Bob Glaspie can attempt to enlarge the block.     

Host Hotel info:
Ann Arbor Holiday Inn Express, 3600 Plymouth Rd.  Ann Arbor, MI.  Call 734-769-9800.  Special rate is $99 per night.  Rooms block is under the name "Aero and Wing Warriors".

The showcase event of the week is:  Greenfield Village Motor Muster June 15 & 16, 2013.   This is a major deal.   We will be able to park our cars on display inside Greenfield Village.    The show will be providing us free entry & 4 weekend passes to all venues including  the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, a $300 package.   You must pre-register with DSAC.   Entries will come from Greenfield Village with documents. Other events being worked on:
Chelsea Proving Grounds tour, Ford Proving Grounds tour.
A visit the Yankee Air Museum with possible rides on a plane (B-17, B-25, C47).  Prices vary with each plane.  Look at their website, www.yankeeairmuseum.org
Jiffy Cake Mix factory,   Lingenfelter Collection, Pratt & Miller Race Shop, and more...

I agree :2thumbs:.  But, I need to figure out what I'm doing.  I usually do the Hot Rod Power Tour which is a week prior to this meet.  Yep, I drive my cars and LOVE doing it.  The Bird will be no exception.

There are some insurance issues to work out regarding touring Chelsea.   We are hopeful we can overcome them.

We drove in and drove out, no questions asked by anyone.     We will have to purchase an insurance rider, which we should have anyway.

HOPEFULLY....my car will finally make it to another meet under it's own power!

Just read that the CEMA show will be held on June 8th at the WPC museum, which will re-be opened for the occasion... If someone wants to get in Detroit sooner...

Has the schedule of events been "put in stone" yet?
I will not be able to attend every day of the event so for planning it would be great to know what is happening each day.

Tony, it is still in a bit of flux depending on what happens with the proving grounds.    The Chelsea tour if we can get it approved would be on Thursday.    Saturday and Sunday is the Greenfield Village show.   Saturday will be the bigger day of the show for us.
