I happen to trip across a posting regarding the differences between a 1968 and 1969 b-body dash frame.  There is one major difference and that is the ignition lock cylinder mounting bracket hole on the dash frame.  1968 dash frames have a smaller size diameter hole than the 1969 dash frame.  So if you tried to replace you dash frame in your 1969 b-body with a 1968 frame, you will either have to drill out the hole with a dremel type tool or drill out the spot welds on the cylinder mounting bracket and weld in the correct larger diameter hole bracket.  If you are using a 69 dash frame in your 68 car, you will either have to use the larger diameter 69 lock cylinder or again, transfer in the 68 bracket from your old frame to the new 69 frame.
