i need info on these heads

hi guys
  i have a chance to pick up a set of chrysler heads. cheap. the casting #'s are 250, are they for a 440 and are they any good for performance. Thanks Rene

I will have to check but, I think the 250 heads were basically a early 906 casting.  My '68 383 has this early version of the 906 and I am almost positive that is the # on them.

i used to have some of those, I never knew what they were but if you put them next to a 906 you couldn't see any difference

DFS68_Charger

My 68 383 2V had those heads on them. It was a June 12 build. The one thing I noticed about the 250 heads is that the exhaust port floor looks to be more restrictive than the 906 heads. Not a bad deal at all for $33.00.

My '68 with the 250's is a 383-2V originally and was built April 27th so I don't know how late the cutoff for the 906's actually was.
