Trying to get my engine compartment to look like original. Anyone have reference photos etc of a 383 big block with AC set up?

Welcome to the site

Here's a 69 383...essentially the same

Turqouise engine color instead of orange though.

Does anyone know for sure when they get the snorkel air cleaner vs the unsilenced version?

I basically have the compressor and condensor....and am trying to find the rest. Someone is offering this up but from the photo above it does not look right...???

'68's are going to have a little bit different style of plumbing. There's a line, can't remember if it'a the low-pressure or high pressure, that runs along the driver's side valve cover.. I'll see what I can come up with when I get home if noone's posted anything.......

Here are a couple of pics of a 68 440 A/C car (Not mine). Plumbing is the same for a 383.

Nacho,

The alternator set-up is correct for BB/RB 68 Chargers with air conditioning. Not sure if it is the same on other years.
Here's a picture of my 68 383. My alt. has a bracket for the heater hoses that attaches with the alt adjusment bolt.
I think they forgot to attach it on the 440 car that I posted pictures of.
