Guilty here! Newbie and stumbled on to the forum just a few days ago.  Owner/Son nice fellows. Daytona is drum brake/no booster as in the engine shot photo/fender tag - believe the noted conflicting engine photo snuck in from another car - a good sign you own(ed) too many cars.  Noted immediate items which need to be addressed are the aftermarket 15" magnums on FS redlines (provided original painted steels shown in some of the vintage photos with dog dish covers - on FS redlines) and the replacement carb (provided nice original but needs rebuilding)...the list will grow no doubt but feels like a good start...I'll have to figure out how to post photos for the more experienced eyes here on other stuff.

Ok, so I understand......... Guilty here = you bought it?

If so, welcome to the AeroWorld ( assuming this is your first Aero ) and being duly noted as the newest AB !!!!

Thanks Troy - yes to confirm my first Aero Car purchase!  Excited to enjoy the forum.  I trailered it home last weekend from Piscataway, NJ but I don't believe it is the same car noted by Nascarxx29 (?).  Current owner and title/docs indicate he only put about 90 miles on it since 2000. Was provided additional (50+) photos from the restoration in both what appears to be the original paint and down to bare metal and quarters/trunk/doors/sills looked to have been solid/rust free and didn't appear to have much/any(?) body work going on as far as panel work but it would be nice to trace back some more history.  If i am interpreting the info right believe it is the 40th Daytona delivered.

Thanks Troy - yes to confirm my first Aero Car purchase!  ...

Excellent !!! It is always a thrill to see a new wing in one's garage......... Congrad's...... Oh, by the way..... The AB is a Aero-thing, sort of our forum banter if you will, created by Mr. Jimbo ( aka maxwellwedge )....... AB = Aero Bastard..... I've been nailed with it a couple of times.......... So, you're the newest until you can hand off the reigns to someone else....

If you haven't discovered yet, the AeroWarriors Meet at Talladega Super Speedway is coming up in 2014 and it is an experience to say the least.

Cheers and enjoy, looks like it'll be added to an already filled garage of nice Mopars..........

Aero Bastard - perfect!  Thanks for the heads up - hopefully someone else is also in the market soon to take over the honors.  Looking at the old photos my car was originally a black stripe car and there are photos of it on delivery day to Jersey in 90s with the white stripe. I'll see if I can scan the old photos in case someone recognizes the individuals in the photos doing the restoration. Took the car for the first real drive over the weekend to deal with DMV - put a little over 30 miles with no issues so far and drove nice/no overheating.  Took a quick photo next to the hemi road runner - glad the vitamin C and hemi orange are "somewhat" a different shade!  Having difficulty reducing size of attachments without making them grainy but here goes.....
