Hello All,
Wondering if there's a "been there, done that" on this subject. Working on my '69 Daytona, I got a water pump housing for the Hemi. After I got it, it dawned on me that it is for a '70 and later. It has the 1/2" and 5/8" nipples......... Does anyone know right off the bat or used recently a reducer? I would need to go from the 1/2 to the 5/8.... I do believe the 1/2 is a 1/4" NBT thread... I would need to go from that to a bigger 5/8" OD nipple.....

Cheers....

Anyplace that sells pipe fitting should be able to help. Plumbing stores are the best.

In order to do it right, i have to go from a 1/2" od to a 5/8" od but fit into a 1/4" NBT threaded hole in the water pump housing....

Mute point now for I found a proper '69-earlier housing with both 5/8" od nipples........
