I would have waited and picked them up at the same time. :Twocents:

Aside from the other car already being finished several years ago, these cars still take a lot of money to restore.    Hard to financially swing two cars being worked on at one time.

Trip of a lifetime, keep up with the photos.
Have a great run home

Following this thread, and on Facebook. Looks like you two are having a blast. I have not ever driven my 500 cross country, but have logged a few miles in it. Gotta say there are a lot of people who will break their necks trying to get a look at your Bird.

Ghoste

Cross country in a fresh Superbird, almost seems like a movie plot.

No word for a while.  I hope all is well, and you are having a blast.  Despite being 96 outside I think I am going to get the black car out for a spin today.  You have inspired me!

Ah yes, okay.  I was also going by the 2nd last photo where that GC logo plate drops down and the passenger exhaust tip seems like its coming out of it.  Between the two pics I thought it was a hitch.

DAY 7 of our Cross Country Trip. We visited Metor Crater in the morning, and hit the road for our goal of 500-600 miles . (made 585miles...to the Town of Tocumcari) The Famous Blue Swan motel was booked solid, so we took a few pics of the famous Neon Motel, and ended up staying at the new renovated Roadrunner Motel.
Today we make TEXAS and beyond
