Which bolt holds the dipstick tube in place on a 68 Charger with a 383. The only bolt that seems reasonably close to the clip on the tube an engine mount bolt.

Thanks,

Chris

Yes the engine mount bolt goes through the dip stick tube bracket, then through the engine mount on the engine.

Also don't forget the dipstick tube goes on the OUTSIDE of the exh manifold for 68-69 (if running stock manifolds)

THAT EXPLAINS why I did need to bend the tube to fit on my 74... is a Mopar Performance part that they say is for all BB but then isn't true. On my engine goes between manifold and valve cover.

Beside, engine mount is different and did hit with it.

THANKS GOD WAS A GIVENESS FORM A MEMBER OF THE BOARD and I didn't pay for it, but is a shame anyway.

Anyway it looks level oil marks doen't match with my stock stick
