Appears to be an electric trunk latch,  anyone recognize what that's from?

I am not sure what it is from either but in the ad it says dealer installed. The 1970 Hurst 300 had an electric release so the parts from the factory were available.

Did anyone notice the big change in the Buy-it-now price?   It was $105,750, but now it's $157,750.

Yes I noticed the 50 k increase? I know the owner is a member here? What's the deal? Donald Trump show interest lol

Hi,
Yes there is a reason for the madness. I received several offers on Friday morning and accepted one. The wire transfer is across a couple of time zones and will not show up until Monday. So as not to lose my $100 ad I priced it so no one could do a buy it now because after I accepted an offer someone contacted me offering more. I always try and do as I say. That is the reason for the price jump... I had someone that was supposed to buy it earlier and pulled my ads and he did not come up with the money. I waited for quite some time.. Anyway I hope this helps explain...    :)
I am going to miss the old girl..... I think I have sellers remorse already...... :'(

Hello, the posted pictures of trunk release by tan top work great, My late friend installed setup on his 1968 Road Runner and is cool addition. I have got many setups from 1980,s Chrysler 5th Avenues. If you want to try setup( the hemi kid) I can send you one for shipping cost. Mike

update on my superbird purchased out of Michigan with the hopes of driving home. latest news is that after having the same problem of no fuel to the carb when hot four different times I gave the car to RbyJ. well this weekend in 100 plus heat I picked it up  for the 50 mile drive home. Julius went through all the mechanical things that needed to go back to original and a couple of other items that were just wore out.
original carb rebuilt
original dist rebuilt with petronics hidden inside
original brake booster rebuilt with correct master cyl
complete end to end correct exhaust system
new correct gas tank

and that fuel problem .... the push rod inside the engine was worn down so not getting full stroke on the pump
with the non stock electronic ignition removed the tach nows reads correct
car still gets very hot in traffic but no sign of the engine stopping and restarts ok

while he had his head under the hood he replaced a bunch of incorrect fasteners and flipped some brackets around the correct way
if it was easy anyone could do it

Excellent !!!! I love the picture of the trunk. I was wondering how the vent system was routed.. Mine is messed up.. It'll be easily fixed I'm sure... Julius has had his talented hands on my Daytona too, smart guy....
