Working on interior wiring and the dash console where we came across a bulb with the remains of what appears to be a blue vinyl coat... I presume this is meant to give backlighting to the console but the bigger question that I am hoping one of you knowledgeable charger folks can answer, where/how do I locate replacement blue bulb covers?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I searched and didn't find anything... Thanks for your help!!!

The bulb cover for the console is actually supposed to be part of the slapstick shifter plate.  I am assuming if you had that apart you could replace it.  If you cant find anything else maybe just swipe a blue cover from the back of a gauge cluster and use it.  Shouldnt be too much different as long as the bulb fits in it, it should work.

I have several of those bulbs blue lenses. Same size but not the same part that center console, since that one is riveted and the ones I have are cliped. Can be glued anyway.

You will need anyway and somehow unjoin both half parts ( upper and lower ) of shifter to install the new blue lense

So, I guess you all are saying that there is no after-market supplier of this blue vinyl thing...

ahh the trouble with the little things...

as far I know, no... all are original parts that PROBABLY still can be around. I have someones exactly same piece but attachs different.

Is not vinyl, is plastic lense, same than the Cluster ones, UNLESS someone in the past covered the bulb with a blue cover ( similar to a condom hehe ), used on several parts of our Chargers, like underdash accesories lightning and A/C-heater lettering lightning.
