The originals appear to be held on with a staple or something that pinches them in place. The replacements have this wierd rubber thing attached to them that would seem to prevent from seating correctly. I don't want to ruin the new part so I thought I would ask before trying to remove this rubber.
Thanks.

Forgot to mention, this is for a challenger.
Anyone have success replacing these?
I just can't figure out how to do it.
I did my charger allready but they were more obvious.

Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....
