I have a 73 charger.

Can anyone talk me through adjusting the side glass?  I need the windows to go back another eighth of can inch but they are out of adjustment, I must be overlooking something.  The door gaps are very good.

You're not the first to experience frustration with this. I and others have been seeking a good answer to this question.

If you read the other posts, you will see you are not the first.
The service manual is quite helpful with this but much of it is common sense. The lower adjustments will control how tight the upper part is.  I also know that that little U shaped clip at the top keeps it tight.  I know because mine is missing and no matter how close I get it there is still wind noise.
I would start with the service manual.  If you don't have it you can download it here from my website: http://www.retrorarities.com/images/73DodgeServiceManual.zip
Mark all the bolts before you loosen so you can go back if you need to. Grease pencil works good for that. Lots of time trying this and that ... be patient and as mentioned go back to "start" if something isn't right.
