An update on my friends Daytona (that I owned for 12 years)  I'm very glad to report that not all of the cars that were in my friends warehouse were destroyed in a terrible fire last x-mas.
I had been told by a couple of other people that everything was gone but after everything has been cleaned, inspected etc.. about 5-6 cars can be saved.  The Daytona is one of the cars that will be restored in the upcoming couple of years.  As you can imagine this will always be a very difficult experience for my friend and he is really a very private person so there is not going to be any fanfare about this stuff, but I did want the forum to know that 410767 will be brought back to it's former glory.
I shouldn't have overstepped my bounds previously by stating something that I did not personally inspect.
Lesson learned: shut yer pie-hole until you see things with your own eyes.

That is good news.     What about the Petty Blue 71 Plymouth?      Is that one salvagable?

Thats wonderful news Chris!

Maybe a few nicely done Phoenix cars will help heal the wounds.

That's a good Christmas story indeed!!! :pity:

Best wishes to you and your Mopar friends this Christmas.
Hope the New Year brings health and wealth to you all.
