Hi there,
I just want to introduce me and my fuel2noise converter, a '72 Charger SE original 400cui - now with a 440cui from a '71 R/T. Well, I am from Germany, 46 yrs old, have a cool wife, two great kids... hmm... and since 2015 (must've been midlife crisis) my Charger. I am not the world's best mechanic - my welding abilities are next to non-existing, I hate the wiring in my car (why do all the cables change colour every couple of inches?? Who did this??) but im getting better. At least I hope so.

If you want to know anything -> just ask :-)

Cheers

Tim

Welcome! Nice car. I had a 72 SE a long time ago. But not as nice as yours.

Welcome to the site Tim, always nice to see another 72SE join. What are your plans for it?

Enjoy :-) I'm pretty simple minded - I fell in love with that 3rd Gen. style a couple of years ago and I simply like this car as it is (minus rust) so I drive it a lot. Yes, it gets wet. Yes, the kids leave dirt in it (and I have to clean up the mess).

Apart from that my plans are the following:
Next thing on my to do list is finding a trailer hitch.
Get the A/C running again - I replaced the evaporator core now it's time to see if it works.
The tacho doesn't work properly. I got it working again for a couple of weeks... but it died again.
Rust on the front pillar: that scares me most.

That's basically it.
