I know that there was a #22 car done for this last Aero Reunion last October.....but I don't know if that car was the real deal or a clone....

Sorry, I'm no help

Chrysler race engineer George Wallace inspected that car years ago and
stated it is not a real Nichels built car.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

ah I see ,  :2thumbs:

There are a few pics on the net showing under the hood and inside the trunk.
Besides missing the inside torsion bar adjuster on the left side, there are many details
missing that totally agree with George Wallace's statement.

The one that was finished last year for Talladega is a tribute car.  It's built more like a modern tube chassis stock car chassis with a Ford 9", but has a Hemi and torsion bar suspension.   It's hard to keep up with all the replica #22 cars.

Rear Quarters are TOO stock for me???
Looks like a road car with 'way too' small tyres and narrower axle lol... :scratchchin:

Deffo one of the PRETTIEST Daytona's ever built/painted and small-blocked almost to a win! :2thumbs:
