JB400

Wonder if the original engine comes with it? :shruggy:

Mark at Magnum Restorations had posted the car on Facebook not long ago. That would mean the trunk work was done right.
I think Mark is helping the owner sell it

Would that mean the Trunk Floor was spot welded in with a Spot Welder?

Aero426

Looks like a lot of car for the money.    And lots of eyeball under the hood.   Mark's work is very nice.

I Think the Description said fender tag was lost & replaced. I didn't think the one painted screw holding fender tag applied to the Superbirds or was that the Daytona or both? or none of the 2? anybody got a pic of original screws in original Superbird or Daytona?  :scratchchin: :shruggy: LEON.

ph23vo

both are painted on all the originals i see..

Mopar John

The Daytonas had 1 screw holding a bent up fender tag during assembly.
So 1 screw painted and 1 not.
The Superbirds had the fender tag hanging in the windshield opening.
Because of that the Superbird tags usually had less paint on them.
But both the fender tag screws were in place and got painted on the Superbirds.
There was a picture showing this on the assembly line a while back.

OK, Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know. As far as I know Most cars have the one painted screw, the left, so they can bend up the tag & paint under it, that's why most have that bend in the upper left. I read this in a 1980's Mopar Magazine & been Restoring my cars that way since 1980's. Back then everybody asked why I forgot to paint the one Screw. Long Story. The reason I asked this Question is because somebody in here not long ago asked if a Superbird Fender Tag was Original or Repop, the comments were maybe 50/50 but I said I was suspicious because it lacked the usual commonly seen upper left corner Bend. BUT, Somebody in here said the Superbirds are all missing the Bend because the tag was not in place & hanging on a wire near windshield. SO, I wondered if no bend then did the screws get painted or not? Thanks for your Response. LEON.

Tags hung from visor hole, screws in place for paint is the common theme (or uncommon to other lines) for Lynch Road cars. I'm surprised the penny crunchers allowed 2 screws being installed, removed and then reinstalled though.
