does  anyone have a pic of where it bolts with no headliner in ....should i be able to feel it with my finger

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I don't have any pics with the headliner out. This one shows the snap for the elastic and you can see the hole in front of it for the bolt to go in. The upholstery shop located the holes when they put the headliner in but, I think the mount was about an inch or so behind the headliner so you should be able to feel for it.

it looks like its in line with the window chrome if its the white spec....thanks for the pic ...do you know how long the bolt is and if its the same threads as the other seat belt bolts ....thanks

From what I remeber the bolt has the same threads as the others. I think they are about 1 1/2" to 2" long. I don't have a set handy at the moment but, I can check at the shop in the morning.

To me it looks like he had to replace the roof and didn't finish yet. The top metal looks new.

Tan Top, i had to drill out the spot welds to the roof supports & take them out & straighten them as 3 kids jumped from a wall onto the roof of my 68 R/T. (my R/t is the green 1 & thats how high the wall was). I pushed the roof out, it left loads of small dents all round the edges. Beaten most out will have to do some filling when i do the body work. The supports are now straight & ready to be welded back in.
I caught 1 of the kids & dragged him to the local police station by he's hair & he's parents paid for the damage. ( hes lucky i didnt kill him)

lil bastards!
I once caught about 5 kids vandalizing cars out in front of my mom's bowling center way back in 86.
they had vandalized me and my buddy's jeeps a couple weeks earlier, so one night i sat in my car in the parking lot for about 3 hours and sure enough here they come around the corner with rocks and stuff just tearing the crap out of everyone's cars.  I followed em in to the bowling center grabbed all 5 of them(even went into the ladies bathroom to get 2 of the punks and sat them behind the counter until Fairfax County Va PD arrived.  Man i remember that day in court with all the parents of all the kids glaring at me the whole time, i didn't care though.  It cost all those parents a ton of money to fix those cars.
Good for you!

Glad you got them as well.
The reason it looks like a new roof is because i painted it with an anti rust paint, there was no paint on it so i just put it on with a brush.
As you can see no new roof
