1) What is the original color of the wing mounting brackets on a Bird?  satin, semi-gloss or gloss black ?
2) Color of the mounting hardware (nuts/bolts),  black oxide?

Thanks

Never mind, I found my answer from a non-member of this forum.  I kinda figured I wasn't going to get my answer from here honestly.

Which leads to another question that I'll need to give some thought to before posting.

Based on mine, that have never been out, I'd say wing "washers" were left to rust in bare steel and the upright braces were Black as people could see them when they opened the trunk.

Much appreciated, that actually was going to be my next step had I not found my answers. Need to go where there's more traffic
