I know these never came on a Charger, but I have an A833 overdrive transmission from a 1980 Dodge 1/2-ton pickup that I want to put into my 1969 Charger, but I don't have a bell housing, since my car currently has an A904 Torqueflite.

A forum post I found somewhere said this:

QuoteThe bellhousing you're looking for has casting #3743859, it came on 75-76 A bodies, 1975-80 F bodies, and 76-80 light trucks.

I found some pictures of one online which can be seen here (scroll down to see all 4 pictures) - https://imgur.com/a/JH5VKwt

I'd like to find someone here who has one I can buy directly, but I'd also appreciate any suggestions for particular junkyards that might have one too.

The overdrive transmssion has a larger diameter collar on it that centers it in the bell housing compared to the older style non overdrive

Some of the scatter shield type bell housings come with a large hole in them and then just order the proper spacer to fit the transmission

Just a thought
