We used to race the Carrera slot cars at the local hobby store
I grabbed all the mopar ones they made at the time

I also picked up the Pioneer version of the 68 orange Bengal Charger
They are very nice and scale build of a model car
I could not bring myself to run it on the smash up derby race track at the store so it just sits in its box looking good

PS  Ho scale is 1/87
    S scale is 1/64

Ill have to check out the Bengal Charger, that sounds awesome. I'm with you, I would be too afraid to break them. I have several valuable Tyco slot cars that I won't run as I am too afraid to wreck them lol.

Regarding the scales, from my research, HO 1/87 refers to trains, newer, Tyco, AFX slot cars are 1/64. Screenshot slot 2025-12-04 065901.jpg

I have a bunch of the Carrera mopars
Raced a few of them but now just look at them

The orangle Bengal Charger from Pioneer
Came with a little blurb about the car
Taped inside the bottom of the car tray was an extra set of rubber tires and some more power pick up brushes

PS  I also have HO trains and that is why I said 1/87 was HO and not 1/64 :)
