When I see/hear about that place all that comes to mind is the movie The Big Lebowski.. "They've got great burgers, Walter" haha!

My daughter went to LA for a week for work and they went to that place, according to her, she didn't care for it too much, didn't understand all the hype about it, said 5 guys burgers and fries are much better but who knows, taste is subjective.

The burgers there are good but not the best. There are independent Mom and Pop places that are excellent but they are stand-alone restaurants.
What many people like is the way the business is operated. ALL the staff is clean and polite, the restaurants are clean, the food is consistent and priced reasonably. One location in California closed because the piece of shit residents in the town acted like gang thugs and the weak-suck police enforcement would not step in to clean it up. They closed partially because they could not guarantee the safety of their customers. They chose to leave since the "state" won't enforce laws to protect people that disrupted something as simple as a damn burger and fry meal.
Regarding the flavor, the ingredients, the whole experience....
If you wait in a drive through idling in a car behind 40 other drivers, your expectations will exceed the quality!
