I am ecstatic that the board is back up.  I don't participate much just because I haven't started my Daytona clone project yet, but soon.  And then people will get tire of me asking questions! :smilielol:

You don't realise how much this place is part of your life until it's not available.
Gotta love a '69

Troy lost interest in his Chargers, traded them all for a mid 80's Camaro & started a new site called www.camaros-are-better-than-chargers.com.  :yesnod:

It would be nice if the guy would post up an answer to the question asked in the title of this topic....

timmycharger

Agreed. I post relatively often in this forum and it would be nice to know if it will be like this in the future and if its fixed for good. There are not many left active here, likely even less now.

I'd believe almost anything @ this point, so I hope you are joking lol. I'm glad the sites back up, that's good enough for me. It's been pretty reliable for over 20 years and I appreciate all that he's put into it, I can't ask for anymore

This is the second time that I am asking but I suspect that you won't answer because the man did not address the most recent disruption.

Posts #s 49 and 51 were six months ago. back then, Troy thought that a new server may be needed. Since then there have been a few times where access wasn't available but never was it as bad as it just was. The death of the site was a topic over at FBBO !
"Old Moparz" won't respond to me because he knows that he is lying. Troy has not posted since the site came back up. There has been no explanation for the recent shutdown.
I started this topic because I still like the forum and want to see it survive.

I love this forum!  I'm glad it's back up.  It is a wonderful resource!  I feel like I go into withdrawal not being able to keep up with everyone on here (even though I don't interact).

Maybe it'll survive better if you don't call out other members as liars. Sugar vs. vinegar.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

If they tell things that are not true, they may be liars. I am not one of them.'
For example: You are not a pleasant man. 80% of your contributions in this forum for the past 4 years have been criticisms of me, not helping others like you used to do. This does nothing to encourage others to comment.

I'm pleasant to just about everybody but you...your ego makes you think you're "the lord of the board" everywhere you go and I'll call you on that every chance I get. Look up the definition of "glass jaw".

80% huh? A gross exaggeration, but that's all you've got. OTOH, how many members have been chased off by your personal attacks?
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Kern Dog

Anyone that is so easily offended to be "chased off" instead of just ignoring content is someone not worth worrying about.
Try to help mothers instead of following me around. You know, it speaks volumes about you to see that your entire purpose on this forum is to act as a "counterpoint" to what I post. It sure seems that without me, you have nothing else to write about. I'd be flattered if I were to actually have a big ego.
I don't.
Instead, I find it sad that an 82 year old man's entire purpose is to wait for someone to post something on a car forum to then criticize it.
Have you no family or friends to spend time with? No wife to join you in other interests that you may have?
