What would it be without a breakdown?  First my starter failed and with a rap of the Stuart boys hammer it started, but not the next time.
Then the Sutton clan, along with Chris, had a blowout on their giant trailer.  Luckly there was a Firestone dealer with 1 tire in stock.
I've been carrying a new mini starter since the 2019 Talladega 50th anniversary.  The Stuart boys offered to change it. Of course, Scott Faulkner had to get his hands dirty, since he also helped in the Fuel pump in Cleveland in 2023. The mini started that night but in the morning, no crank, firewall start relay this time.  Brandon Adkins pulled some strings at the NAPA store, they got one in at the end of the day. So, its use the screwdriver to jump the relay the rest of the day.  Well, that worked for a while until the mini quit working! Ugggg. Now its park on a hill or get a push start the rest of the day now. Back to our Host the Adkins for supplying a used almost newly rebuilt starter.  Thanks again Quintin and Ian.

Oh man, we've all been there!  I have experiences with a starter in the parking lot at Big B BBQ in Alexander City, AL and a fuel pump and pushrod at the Mopar Nat's...and...and...

Thanks for sharing!  Glad it is such a supportive community.
