1/8 mile racing

I went to the Huntsville Ala. show this weekend and watched some 1/8th mile bracket racing which I had never seen before. The fastest pro cars were doing about 5.xx at 120ish but most street cars were doing 7's. Can anyone estimate how fast a 6-7sec. 1/8 mile car would run in the 1/4? My reason for asking is that I talked to a guy there that had a similar engine package that I want and he was very fast in the 1/8th.
