Hi buddies...

Since I don't have anymore a parking place in my building and have to park it on a friend of mine place 4 blocks from me without roof I want to get somekind of advise about car covers. I'm very afraid on make some mistake about that, since it is under the sun AND RAIN, and again under sun. Very afraid about the cover will stick somehow on body and when remove the paint come off with that weather condidions. Also those idiots that waste throught their windows, cigarretes ends etc...

what kind of material I have to be alert or will be the best ?

Here I are able to find imported and local car covers brands.

Some are Dupont material, and some not, even I don't have any idea about the materials made.

Go for the gusto and get a really good one.  I have a $200 cover for each of my cars and they've lasted for years through the brutal Florida weather.  Don't get waterproof as it will hinder breathing.

Read up and match what you want done in the conditions you are going to have the car in. You can call these guys and they will talk to you and recommend the best cover for you. 


If your car is outside you need to be worried about moisture and UV.  The cover needs to breath so you dont get water trapped upderneath.

also want to metion something i saw happen. My buddy parked his car outside with the cover on and it was windy. Left scratches behind from the cover moving. Make sure its a good fit.

I can vouch for the Cal Car Cover, great fit, saves on the cleaning.
But i also have a cheaper summit racing cover for the project car.

Definitely pay for a good one.  I bought one that I thought was reasonable....paid for it later .

Look for something that doesn't retain the moisture and is breathable.  I know that Year One use to have some decent ones (although for some of their prices you could probably just buy a garage!! )
