Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Fido at home in the back seat of the Charger with the flowmasters rummbling away under his feet!  He's loves the Charger...

nice dog. is he in a seat belt?

Yup... he wears a sheepskin padded harness.  The seatbelt itself slips through a loop on the harness.  He used to travel in a kennel, but likes the harness better as it allows him a little more room to move around (sit up and lie down) and a lot more to look at.    :yesnod:

I'm training him to chew on Chevy and Ford owners...    :D

nvrbdn

i like that. might try it with my dogs.  :2thumbs:

My wife has a station wagon now so the dogs are in the back but in her previous sedan the dogs were always harnessed up to the seatbelts.
Much safer that way for all. Big dogs not buckled up would mean big trouble if she ever had to break suddenly.

Absolutely Bob. I think that with big dogs like that it's important that they be purebred as temperament is so important.
Also they need to be screened for things like hip dysplasia etc. And you can only get that from a good breeder as they breed only from healthy stock with good bloodlines..

Exactly, do your homework/background checks on the breeder and pay their price for the good bloodline/lineage pup, it will pay off in the long run definetly, thats the route we took and are very happy with our dog.
Whats the new guys name Fred?

I took these of Rosie earlier on this arvo, we had the jumps and the tunnel out, I really like the last shot

The new guy is Ringo. He's such a cutie and a real smooch. He's already made himself quite at home. He's a determined little bugger and very wilful, we can see he's going to be a handful. :slap: ha ha!! But with plenty of patience and obedience training and of course socialising all will be fine.  Plenty of praise when he's good is what it's all about.
We love your dog. She looks gorgeous.  Is she a Scottish terrier ? (I'm sure you've said) are you going to enter her in agility comps?

Thanks a bunch John, I'm the one that tends to ruin our dogs (especially with over feeding...........I'm a sucker for those big sad eyes, which is just an act they put on, I know, to get what they want but I can't help myself) but my wife keeps a short rein on me. She knows what's best for our dogs.
And like all our dogs, this one too will be well looked after and much loved. And yes, they all live inside the house.  :2thumbs:

Now does he look like he's ever going to do as he's told?
He looks you right in the eye and there's defiance written all over he's face. You can practically hear him thinking it.
Oh but he's so cute.
