yes i need some help decoding engine parts,440 cylinder heads which should I use?4006452 or3462346 and this is the # on my 440 crank dampner 83184-343-2 any help  would be greatly appreciated.

Just 6T9 CHGR

"452" heads are later model and have hardned seats.  They are compareable in flow #'s to the "906" heads (which dont have hardned seats)
Not sure on the 346's though

The 346 head started in 1971 replacing the 906 and they did not have hardened seats. They went through 1973 I believe. I would use the 452's if date codes are not your deciding factor.
