I've never heard of one, but, I guess anything is possible. I don't know why anyone would want one though! The cost would be outrageous and aluminum is available everywhere..

Is there a particular reason that you think you might need one?

C/F is one of the strongest fibers available, lighter than aluminum. you would gain more power/tq to the wheels by having such light driveshaft. Many race cars use it. As far as the cost it is pricey but if you're trying to gain power it might be well worth it

But would the power gain actually be worth it in a street car?  When offset by the cost?  Pro Stock cars use exotic construction materials extensively throughout their cars but how many people need and can realistically pay for things like titanium wheel studs?

Here's some pricing from a local shaft builder. You can read more on their site on Carbon shafts.

some chevy pickups came with a carbon fiber shaft, some cars came with aluminum shaftgs but from everything ive read( no personal experiance) almost to the last person they seen no et gain in either aluminum or fiber shafts.      i guess im kinda cheap and wont spend money on something that i dont think ill get a return on.
