I am trying to install a '76 (or so) 400 in a '73 318 Charger.  Right hand engine mount seems to work - left side is off by 1/2".  Oil pump seems to be in the way of the K-frame mount on the left side and the '76 Cordoba 400 oil pan hits the K-frame.  Does anyone have a correct oil pan # for this install and is there a factory LH mount that will work?  Getting ready to break out the Hot Wrench to make it fit - last resort.  I am running a '67 440 in my '74 Charger (original B engine car) and I didn't have any problem with oil pan or mounts working.  The '73 engine mounts on the K-frame are not located as on my '74 - is there a difference (I didn't think so) between LA and B - RB K-frames concerning the location of the mounts?  Any help would be appreciated - my 19 YO daughter is getting discouraged trying to get her '73 on the road and I am trying to get the keys back to my '74.

The 1973-up B/RB and LA K frames are different, and you will need one of them, unless you buy the Schumacker conversion mounts.

Thanks for the replies - looks like schumacher will make this work for me.  I think there will be a nother B engined B-body running around Anchorage this summer!

Even I like more the K memer change idea, the schumacher option is a great solution.
