Has anyone bought one of these 67-70 b body reproduction consoles?  This is the one that is injection molded like the original, not fiberglass.  I heard there's a lot of problems with the fiberglass type and wondered if these injection molded consoles are "bolt and go" as advertised?  The price seems right, but I'll wait till I hear some feedback first.

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

Thanks MOPARHOUND!  I need to contact them about whether or not it fits a '67 - ebay ad says 67-70 L&P website says 68-70.

Here is a thread on the one I bought from L & P.

The 1967 console has a bolt on rear section and is made of a heavier type of plastic. The 68-70 version will fit and look fine but it is not 100% correct in a 1967 car though.

Thanks for the input 694spdRT.  I really don't know how these guys at L&P could afford such an expensive mold and sell consoles at such a reasonable price.  I've been in and out of injection molding for 30 yrs and know that injection molded parts rely solely on volume sales to offset the gigantic mold cost.  I've seen injection mold costs exceed $100,000.00 for realively simple looking parts and I haven't even mentioned the purchase price or the operating costs for the injection molding machine!

My hat's off to people like L&P!!
