I have 409058 recorded as having been sold through eBay in August of 2003.  I didn't write down the sale price though...  :-\

Did you write down the seller's & buyer's e-bay names?

Unfortunately, no.

It might not have made any difference though, since as you can tell from the listing the seller has a zero feedback.  The car was either sold to another person between 2003 and now, or the 2003 buyer has changed their eBay ID since then.

Either way, I can't say who the car sold from or to back in '03.

Here's the link to the earlier thread.

EV2 daytona

The eBay link didn't work anymore (so it was removed), but it was definitely a V2 car with rocker mouldings.  Dave/nascarxx29 pointed out that this car was formerly owned by Ted Janak.

My notes on this second 'Tona show that it was first listed on eBay in March of this year (I kept the seller's email addy that time!!).  That car's auction ended at $247,300 (reserve not met), and it was taken to MoparsAtTheStrip '06 with a For Sale price of $275,000.  It was listed again twice on eBay in April of 2006 (not sold that I know of).

I compared some pictures and I think they are the same cars.

Here is a picture from the current auction, where you can see the second Daytona has a blue front plate with yellow lettering.  See my reply above for a picture from what I think is the same car's eBay auction earlier this year.  Blue plate, yellow lettering.
